Contract No. 44: El Behaira Water Supply

  • Location:El Behaira Governorate in five sites.
  • Total Quantities of Completed Works:
    • 25,000 m3 of concrete.
    • 3,000 tons of steel rebars.
    • 30,000 LM of piles driven under foundations.

The project entails the construction of seven ground reservoirs, three elevated reservoirs and five pumping stations. The work includes the supply and installation of all the electro-mechanical equipment necessary to operate and control the pumping stations.

Dku Site
  • One elevated tank with a height of 35 m and a capacity of 1000 m3.
  • Two ground reservoirs with a diameter of 32 m and a capacity of 5000 m3 each.
  • One chlorination unit.
  • One Pumping Station.
El Mahmodia Site
  • One elevated tank with a height of 37 m and a capacity of 450 m3.
  • One ground reservoir with a diameter of 28 m and a capacity of 3500 m3.
  • One pumping station consisting of 6 units with a total pumping capacity of 240 liter/sec.
El Rahmania Site
  • One elevated tank with a height of 37 m and a capacity of 450 m3.
  • One ground reservoir with a diameter of 28 m and a capacity of 3500 m3.
  • One pumping station consisting of 4 units with a total pumping discharge of 120 liter/sec.
Rashid Site
  • Two ground reservoirs with a diameter of 28 m and a capacity of 3500 m3.
  • One pumping station consisting of 6 units with a total pumping discharge of 450 liter/sec.
Kom Hamada Site
  • One ground reservoir with a diameter of 28 m and a capacity of 3500 m3.
  • One pumping station consisting of 6 units with a total pumping discharge of 270 liter/sec.
