El Radissya Pumping Station

Project Description: The contract consists of two main parts - the pumping station and the force main.

Pumping Station
  • Costruction floor: 12 meters under ground level, dimentions 40 x 20 m, constructed in three levels for suction pipes, pumps and motors.
  • Ceiling: 13 meters above ground level, in two levels to allow for gantry crane 20 tons.
  • Raft foundation: 1 m thickness - 3 m soil replacement under foundation.
  • Civil works : Supply and installation of all civil works, finishing, transformer buildings and an access road 2500 m long. Total concrete volume: 5000 m3.
  • Pipe intake 80 m x 15 m includes retaining walls, pitching and concrete lining.
  • Collection basin at pipe exit 30 m x 20 m. Protection system from hydraulic hammer with all necessary valves and special pieces.
Force Main
  • Supply and installation of pre-stressed concrete force main 2000 m double pipeline with diameter 1500 mm.
  • Construction of an R.C. recieving basin at the end of the F.M. pipeline with dimensions 15 m x 15 m including gates, protection and non-reversible valve.
  • Construction of 14 No. value chambers including a total 3000 m3 of concrete.
